Cosmetic dentistry

Teeth whitening

Erosion-Infiltration ICON

Teeth whitening is the most conservative cosmetic treatment for natural teeth.

It works by using a gel that removes stains and discoloration from inside the tooth without affecting the surrounding tooth structure. The gel is applied in custom-made trays that are worn overnight. The treatment usually lasts between 12 days and 3 weeks, depending on the individual case.

A dental check-up is required before starting any whitening treatment.

The erosion-infiltration technique (ICON) is a procedure that allows white or brown enamel lesions to be treated in a single session. These lesions are caused by a defect in enamel mineralization (such as hypomineralization, fluorosis, or traumatic lesions on primary teeth).

This treatment is part of minimally invasive dentistry and affects only the enamel.

The aesthetic results are immediate and long-lasting.

All procedures are performed with magnification and under a dental dam to ensure precision and comfort.

Aesthetic composites

Veneers and Aesthetic Ceramic Restorations

Restoring the shape and color of one or more front teeth with aesthetic composites is a minimally invasive treatment that provides immediate results.

Aesthetic composites are applied and sculpted, or injected depending on the clinical situation, the number of teeth involved, and the amount of tooth structure to be restored.

They can also be combined with other techniques, such as fiber-reinforced aesthetic retainers, when needed.

All procedures are performed with magnification and under a dental dam to ensure precision and comfort.

In cases where the shape of natural teeth is atypical (such as peg-shaped teeth, small teeth, trauma, or effects of medication), aesthetic ceramic restorations for front teeth may be recommended.

These can include veneers, which are thin layers of ceramic bonded to the teeth.

This technique has the advantage of minimizing tooth preparation while correcting aesthetic imperfections.

Other options, such as bonded cantilever bridges, also require minimal tooth preparation and provide an aesthetic solution for single missing front teeth (due to agenesis, extraction, or tooth loss).
